KAAMGUHAN collaborated with MUST-NSTP and Our Lady of Charity Social Apostolate-Immaculate Concepcion Parish in order to gather food and clothes for the survivors of Yolanda.
MUST-NSTP turned over the relief goods to the team composed of 2 members of kaamguhan, 3 teachers from MUST-NSTP and 4 volunteer students of MUST.
The team left MUST at around 4 pm of 23 November 2013 and reached Lipata port of Surigao del Norte at dawn of 24 November 2013.
We finally reached Benit port of Leyte Province at around 10 in the morning of 24 November 2013….
….and got stuck at the steepest area in San Ricardo going to Liloan.
But after so many trials, we finally reached Saint Michael, Palo, Leyte to distribute the relief goods on 25 November 2013.
Inspite of what they’ve been through, they still managed to smile and say “Thank you.”
