Far out, it has been a loooong time since I last blogged!! Hi everybody!! *waves*

Last you heard I was heading back down to Carigara, Leyte, to do more relief work following Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan).

We left the IN office at 3:30am on Friday to catch an early flight to Cebu. From there we caught a ferry to Ormoc (about 3 hours on the boat), and then a bus to Carigara (about 2 hours). I had only had 2 hours sleep the night before, so slept on all three of those modes of transportation 😉 There were four white people in the row in front of me on the plane, which took the total number of white people I had seen in the five weeks I had been in the Philippines to six. They were Americans, also coming as part of an aid team. When we arrived in Cebu airport…
