100 days.

100 days.

We Remember. We Celebrate. We Believe.

That’s the sentiment from people who are in Ground Zero Tacloban City. 100 days have passed and there are a lot of things to be done in the city for the rebuilding. The people of Eastern Visayas are very much appreciative of the assistance and help coming from international organizations and foundations.

On February 14, they launched a program “Keep the Love Alive” where they set up 10,000 white and red balloons along the coastal area of Tacloban City. From  Daniel Z. Romualdez Airport to Anibong District in Tacloban’s downtown area.  These balloons were put up both to remember those who died during Typhoon Yolanda/Haiyan and to show the gratitude for the help pouring in from all different countries and organizations.
