6 months on – an outsiders view

Helping hands for Tacloban

Yesterday it was exactly 6 months since the super typhoon hit the Philippines.  I’ve posted the media reports we found in a new page at the top of the blog called ‘6 months on’.

I’ve listened to Jackie and I’ve read up on it, but I don’t think I quite anticipated the footage on this amazing footage reported in the Telegraph.


It looks better, but it’s not quite right.  There are too many tents.  There are too many boats on the land. Honestly, it’s worse than I thought it would be, even though part of me had understood.
